Hello and Seasons Greetings,
It’s not exactly an Oprah-style gift, but … I have great news: FREE copies of Zero Debt to all!
In the last edition of the newsletter, when I asked readers to email me and say “Why I Need Zero Debt,” I never imagined the overwhelming responses I would receive.
My plan was to give out $100 cash and 25 free copies of my book, Zero Debt, as holiday gifts to selected subscribers. Well, the stories I read were so poignant and compelling that I could not pick only 25 recipients – or even just 50! So I have decided to send a free copy of Zero Debt to every person who wrote me by the cut-off date, which was Monday December 13th. Congratulations to everyone! :-)
Now, for the $100 winner:
I have chosen Barbara Rickard, of New Jersey, who wrote to request the cash on behalf of her sister, Sue. While I received many worthy requests for the money – including very touching emails from those of you who have experienced deaths in the family, divorce, job layoffs and so on – trust me when I say that Sue is enormously deserving of this money and could definitely benefit from it.
The free copies of
Zero Debt will be sent out via priority mail on Monday, December 20th and
should reach most of you before December 25th.
A special note to all my Canadian subscribers who wrote me: You will also be getting your copies of Zero Debt ASAP, but it may take a day or two longer. Also, FYI: my publishing company, Advantage World Press, is in the process of setting up distribution in Canada, so we will soon carry Zero Debt and future titles there as well.
Meantime, thanks to all of you who wrote me and shared your personal tales. It really meant a lot to me. I know what a struggle it is to get out of debt. I hope that Zero Debt will give you the motivation and the knowledge you need to totally change your finances in 2005. For those of you getting a free book, if you already have Zero Debt, please share the additional copy with someone else who could use a holiday gift.
